Will you tell us about a time when you felt God’s presence?
During my novice year, I was encouraged to deepen my spiritual journey and explore my vocation, especially within SVD spirituality. Now, as I approach the end of the year, it’s a good time for me to reflect on my journey. Looking back on my experiences during my novice year, I find it to have been truly meaningful. I encountered God’s presence both in moments of weakness and moments of happiness. Notably, I have found the presence of God in every moment of prayer and self-examination.
When did you first feel the call to be a missionary?
I only know the Society of the Divine Word from when I studied at Divine Word College; however, the missionary stories that I have heard from many SVDs have inspired me a lot. And it is a big motivation for me to pursue my vocation as a missionary.
How has living with the SVD brothers and priests at Techny inspired you?
The Techny Community is a beautiful community, where I can find friendship and brotherhood. In particular, I always felt included in all activities during this year. I also learned much from all the wise people in the community.
