Caribbean St William

St. William

Established in 1957, the parishioners of St. William worshipped God in a small chapel. As years passed, the community outgrew the chapel. In 1999, they built a larger church and renovated the parish hall and administrative offices. These offices serve the three parishes and two missions on four islands throughout the British Virgin Islands.

An active parish, St. William sustains a robust music ministry, youth and prayers groups, prison ministry, religious education programs, a religious goods stall and an educational trust fund. In addition to liturgies, the parish gathers for a novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help in conjunction with Wednesday evening Mass.

Along with responsibilities at St. William, the pastor also cares for the faith community at Mary Star of the Sea in the East End of Tortola. This faith community completed its church in 1993.
