Ten SVDs Ordained at Techny

Ten members of the Society of the Divine Word were ordained to the priesthood at Divine Word International Church of the Holy Spirit, Techny, Illinois, on May 27, 2006 by Archbishop Michael Blume, nuncio to Togo and Benin. Six from Vietnam: Anthony Duc Le, assigned to Australia; Hieu Trong Nguyen assigned to the U.S. Western Province; Kha Manh Nguyen, assigned to the U.S. Chicago Province; Phong Cao Nguyen, assigned to Brazil North Province; Long Duc Michael Vu, assigned to the U.S. Chicago Province; Toan Quoc Vu, assigned to Ecuador; three from China and one from the Philippines: Abelardo Gabriel, assigned to the U.S. Chicago Province. The three provincials from the U.S. were concelebrants: Fr. Joseph Miller, Western Province, Fr. Mark Weber, Chicago Province and Fr. Joseph Simon, Southern Province.
