Known for multicultural music, Orchid Ensemble brings their energetic style to Divine Word College.
By blending ancient musical instruments and traditions, Orchid Ensemble creates a new sound and a repertoire that ranges from traditional Chinese music to creative improvisation.
Nominated for a Juno (Canada's music awards presented by The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences), Orchid Ensemble has performed at Festival Miami, the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, the National Arts Centre in Ottawa and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
