Born and educated in Brazil, Fr. Guilherme Andrino is pastor of Blessed Sacrament-Our Lady of the Divine Shepherd, a multi-cultural parish in Trenton, N.J.

As a seminarian, Father Andrino did his Cross-cultural Training Program in the United States, working in African-American ministry at St. Anselm on Chicago’s South Side. Ordained to the priesthood in 2007, he returned to the United States the following year to serve the Blessed Sacrament-Our Lady of the Divine Shepherd community.

Blessed Sacrament-Our Lady of the Divine Shepherd is a blended parish made up of two churches—one with African-American roots, the other built by Irish immigrants. Today the parish has members from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America.
