Japanese tour of hospice honors Rev. Kamp
The Pioneer Press took note of a visit by a Japanese delegation to the Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter in Glenview, Ill. The visitors included Fr. Robert Riemer, SVD, and Sister Ludwina Murakami, SSpS, provincial of the Japanese Province. The cultural and professional exchange between Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter and the Society of the Divine Word was the brainchild of Fr. Francis Kamp, SVD, who passed away on Aug. 27. How dark the night: the 'Inlumina Prayer'

Illinois Lieutenant Governor Sheila Simon and Divine Word Father Quang Duc Dinh, rector of the Divine Word Residence at Techny, unveiled a plaque on July 20, 2011.
