American author and editor Robert Wolf, who roamed the United States for much of his life, will share stories of the ordinary man, woman and child in this lecture at Divine Word College.
A former Chicago Tribune columnist, Wolf is co-founder and director of Free River Press, a non-profit publishing house established to document contemporary America through writing workshops with people from all walks of life.
He is the recipient of the Sigma Delta Chi Award from the Society of Professional Journalists and is author of several books, including "An American Mosaic: Prose and Poetry by Everyday Folk" (Oxford University Press: 1999) and "Heartland Portrait: Stories from the Rural Midwest" (Free River Press: 2009).
