Houses of formation

In the autumn of 1895, Brother Wendelin Meyer became the first Divine Word Missionary to arrive in the United States. Within a decade, the Divine Word Missionaries began preparing American young men for the religious life. Since then, the Society of the Divine Word has operated several seminary and formation programs across the country. Below is a list of the different programs and cities where they were located.
